My very first writing gig was to write blog content for an agency that managed PR and marketing for senior living communities. Once they saw my potential, they started training me to write sales copy and sent me my very own copy of this book.
Even now, years later, I still reference it on occasion to help me make sure I get my storytelling just right.
I recommend this book to all of my clients, and anyone who has something to market.
Book Title: Building a StoryBrand: Clarify Your Message So Customers Will Listen
Author: Donald Miller

My Take Away
You can have the greatest product in the world, but if you don’t communicate about it correctly to your audience, you will never make any sales. That is why I recommend to everyone who has something to market.
The words that you say to your audience can make or break your sales pitch, and they need to be chosen carefully.
This is the #1 most used book on my bookshelf. It is a book that I return to over and over again. In fact, I have it in audio, digital, AND paperback. It’s worth it. It lays out everything so well and provides a framework that has worked time after time.
